Welcome to Medium Gallery, where light, technology & art converge
Medium is a place that connects art, design and technology. As much as it is a gallery, it is home to a collaborative work space, showroom and sensory living environment.

Lauren Woods
Lauren Woods was born and raised in Central Vermont, but has called Montana home since 2015. Lauren spends a lot of time in nature, studies the cosmos and pulls her creativity from both, above and below. Lauren is a self taught ceramic artist who is always seeking something new to explore with clay and works diligently to expand and experience her knowledge. Lauren enjoys trail running, teaching ceramics, reading with her dog and laying in the sun with an iced americano.

Delving into my unique perspective as an orphan, liver transplant recipient, survivor, patient, mother, and artist, I redefine what it is to be human. A surgeon of the canvas, I am making sense of what has been done to my body, searching for a complete form of myself and of the painting.
The Montana landscape also speaks to me. I focus on the relationship between devastation and growth: the looming paradox of how cataclysmic tectonic events have created this majestic terrain is forever present in the folds of the Rockies.
Noble travels the globe in search of iconic images that he translate into his style of art. After settling in the Rocky Mountain towns of Bozeman, and Big Sky Montana, his attention is currently set on the greater Yellowstone area. His style is to create legacy art pieces that strip away the visual noise by using a minimalistic approach.
Jennifer Alden has always been drawn to objects with a history, a patina, those marks that others have made, the many lives that have been lived. Vertu patched, repaired, threadbare, rusted, and unearthed. In the work she creates, she evokes connections to another time with its long lost relics rediscovered.

“Placed,” a curatorial project by Coryander Friend, has landed at Medium Gallery with “LIT,” an ensemble of lighting design, ceramic fine art, and sculptural furniture. Placed is a new gallery and curatorial platform based in Livingston, Montana. Its name plays on the literal centering of artwork as well as the concepts of home, space, expansiveness, and connection. Placed specializes in pieces that blur the boundaries between art and design, form and function.
In the not-too-distant past, two women dreamt of a place where beauty reigned. A place where they could turn their wild thoughts and inspirations into tangible things to share with the world. They were dreamers, thinkers and rule-breakers. They pushed the boundaries and forged ahead into the wild unknown. The result was the creation of Urbaine Home, a boutique in Bozeman, Montana where they now share their loves, inspirations, and finds from around the world.
